Marc Grossman (born September 23, 1951) is the United States Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan. He served as United States Ambassador to Turkey, Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs.Grossman is a native of Los Angeles, California and a veteran Jewish diplomat and foreign policy scholar. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and later received an MSc in international relations from the London School of Economics.
